A creative leader + strategic partner across brand, design, content, and product.
By way of a design and content background, I’ve been a creative leader in publishing, agency, big-tech, and start-up settings. Over the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of building and leading several exceptional and highly engaged teams - providing the focus, function, and fire for everyone to do their best work.
I am incredibly passionate about brand building, fostering a customer-centric mindset, and scaling messaging across channels and audiences. I value respectful cross-functional collaboration, building strategic partnerships in areas where my team can provide the most impact.
Through my diverse experiences, I’ve honed the ability to effectively scale influence and inspiration. From giving feedback on design or writing minutia, to advising founders and executives on business-changing initiatives, I try to approach conversations with a humble conviction. I believe the true value of creative thinking lies not in the novelty of the ideas produced, but rather in the depth of understanding that precedes it.

Personal stuff
I’m left handed, allergic to watermelon and grow a goth garden. Some things I’m always working on include: wasting less, listening to understand and not just respond, and making sure my kids grow up to respect and support the diversity of humans around them.
A great unwind moment for me consists of arranging beautiful flowers then taking moody photos of them. I live in central Seattle with my husband who is a packaging designer and curator of the block’s most organized shed. We share our home with a tween, a toddler and about 160 species of plants. We might get a dog again someday, but right now we don’t need another thing to keep alive.
Our days at home are in the kitchen and garden, redesigning something again, and picking up a trail of Cheerios (that’s where the dog could be useful.) Our time away is usually spent by the water, or in search of our next great meal - be it down the street or in another time zone.
